We are glad you are considering St. Paul’s  United Methodist Church for your wedding. St. Paul’s United Methodist Church recognizes marriage as a gracious gift from God – a symbol of God’s love for us. In marriage, two people commit to a mutually shared life together.

We are committed to making your day a joyous occasion. Our sanctuary is available for weddings and our fellowship hall is available for receptions. If you are interested in having your wedding with us please contact Patricia Hayes in the church office. In order to allow appropriate timing for planning and preparation, wedding dates must be set two months in advance.

Will There Be Pre-Marital Counseling?

We request that at least 3 meetings be scheduled with the pastor prior to the wedding ceremony. The focus of the pre-marital counseling meetings will be to help the couple explore their relationship in the context of the church and to prepare for the joys and challenges of life together and to plan for the marriage ceremony.

What documents Are Necessary?

All persons who attend to be married must obtain a marriage license. Please give the license to the pastor to sign along with your witnesses on the wedding day. Visit the marriage bureau for complete information.

Can We Hold Our Reception at St. Paul’s UMC?

Yes, you can also hold your reception in the Fellowship Hall for an additional fee. The hall can accommodate up to 100 guests and long tables are available for use. The kitchen is available for use along with the hall.

All matters regarding building usage fees, outside weddings coordinators, decorating and scheduling will be handled through the church trustees.
